About Virgo Rising:
-
“Vocalist and guitarist Emily Sinclair and multi-instrumentalists Lauren and Jenna Wittman make quietly confident, interior music — knotty and intricate but never belaboured, their songwriting feels less like a diary than it does a brain-scan, a complex web of light put to tape.” (Kaelen Bell, Exclaim Magazine)

Virgo Rising is an indie rock band from Winnipeg, Canada, made up of Emily Sinclair, sisters Jenna and Lauren Wittmann, and Isaac Tate. Known for their intricate sonic textures and resonant lyrics, the group delves into themes of transformation, self-discovery, and identity. Their two EPs, Sixteenth Sapphire (2021) and Vampyre Year (2023) effortlessly blend soft, intimate bedroom pop with bold, electrifying indie rock, creating a style that is uniquely their own.

About Burrow:
-
Hailing from Regina, Saskatchewan, Burrow brings forth a unique genre blend of folk, country, and alternative music with their own tastes rooted in psychedelia, slowcore, classic rock, and indie music. The band came together and established their sound after being inspired by others located in the Canadian prairies such as Living Hour, Field Guide, Marissa Burwell, Starpainter, and Leith Ross, as well as Canadian folk legends Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. The band was formed in October of 2023 after singer-songwriter Emma McGill (Gunton, MB) and bassist Slayte Prefontaine (Swift Current, SK) began attending local shows in Regina and met Joe Roussel (Regina, SK) and Theo Deiana (Regina, SK), who were musicians on the scene. Both Joe and Theo are members of Jake and the Kid as well as Ella Forrest and the Great Pines and have been playing shows together since 2022. This unlikely group of four musicians combined efforts to bring Emma’s music to life and form this band by the name of Burrow.

O.D. Beresford is the musical project of Winnipeg-based singer songwriter Owen Dueck. Merging intricate songwriting and introspective lyrics, Owen delivers dynamic live performances that feature a rich blend of folk and alternative-rock.
