About Hal: Single L:
Kathryn Ricketts is a dancer, improvisor, professor, and Chair of Dance at the University of Regina. After working on Hal: Single L through residencies in Europe and America, she will bring the premiere performance to Regina!
Hal is a bad comedian, an auctioneer, a square dance caller, a hoarder, a farmer, and a bull. It's his firm belief that we are very bad at dying, and he wants to share stories about living, grieving, and loss. By turns touching and tender, comic and heartfelt, the performance will be followed by a talkback with the audience.
