About Artesian Performing Arts

The Artesian is leased and operated by the not-for-profit organization, Artesian Performing Arts.

The organization is registered as a non-profit charitable corporation in the province of Saskatchewan and is a Registered Charity under the Federal Income Tax Act of Canada (76066 0894 RR0001).

Our Goal is to foster collaboration and resource sharing between the artists, arts organizations, and community groups that utilize this space.

Our Mission is to be a destination for new work development, a champion for the emerging artist, and a center for community engagement with the arts.

Artesian Performing Arts is operated by a voluntary Board of Directors. The Founding Members are Catie Marsh, Kamara Willett, and Colleen Ann Book. The organization employs two full-time seasonal employees – the Artistic & Executive Director (Andrew J. Manera) and the Bar Manager (Melanie Vovchuk). Additional staff – casual bartenders, front-of-house staff, technicians, and custodial support – are all hired on a casual basis.

As a young not-for-profit organization, we rely on the support of volunteers and donors to help keep our doors open. If you're interested in volunteering at events, or if you'd like to make a donation, please send us a note using the form on your right.
