The University of Regina’s Theatre Department is delighted to showcase seven brand new short plays written by our second year B.F.A.  students. From the satirical to the sublime, these short plays cover outrageous family traditions, a murder mystery in cookie-land, death, politics, the quest for love and the effects of addiction – providing an entertaining taste of the absurd and heartfelt drama.

This year, the Theatre Department is presenting these charming new works written by our second-year theatre students in a series of staged readings in the Shubox Theatre.  Created and/or performed by theatre students T-Ball Beck, Sofia Diordieva, Aidan Hickey, Ash Kowalyck, Jhett Owens, Stella Sale, Mia Zagoricnik and special guests, the readings are directed by Kathryn Bracht and presented over several evenings from Monday, March 2nd at 730 pm through to Friday, March 6th, with a talk-back on Thursday March 5th.    We are also hosting a special closing night presentation of the plays at the Artesian Theatre at 730 pm on Saturday March 7th.  Each performance is pay-what-you can.
