About the fundraiser:
This year's fundraiser features music by Arkadia, The Dripping Honeys, PRISM Choir, and Jake and the Kid, plus poetry from Creative City Centre’s Word Up Poets, and DJ sets from DJ Robin Mang as well as Vinyl Hang. Hosted by Mooky Cornish, Saskatchewan-based clown and former lead clown with Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai.
We will have a raffle with items donated from several Regina businesses and artists, a 50/50 draw and much more!
This is an evening where you will meet other Artesian supporters, performing artists, and people behind the Artesian who make the venue run all year around with wonderful shows and events!
This year we have a goal to raise $6,000 in donations to help our operations and to complete the installation of a few improvements in our venue!
Buying a ticket and/or making a donation will directly contribute to our donation campaign and to our ongoing efforts to bring art, music, theatre, comedy, and more to Regina!
π Every donation—big or small—makes a real impact.
π Every share helps us reach more supporters.
Join us on April 25th in building a stronger, more vibrant arts community. Together, we can make sure creativity continues to inspire, connect, and uplift us all. Thank you for your support!
We look forward to seeing you at the I Love Artesian fundraiser!

About the Artists:
About Arkadia:
Born from the intersection of rugged Canadian winters and the sun-drenched azure shores of the Aegean, Arkadia bridges two worlds through sound, blending high octane kefir (joy) and exhilarating melodies and rhythms with modern soundscapes. Three decades into their odyssey, Arkadia continues to deliver an electrifying live experience as they explore the unknown on their journey home.

About Jake and the Kid:
Jake and the kid is a 4-piece alternative band from Regina, Saskatchewan. Formed in 2020 during the pandemic, the group has been working towards perfecting their craft since then. The group won the SaskMusic album of the year award in 2023 for their EP "Baby Bro" as a 7-piece band, which contains lyrics involving adolescence and paints them over a canvas of lo-fi folk, indie, alternative, and shoegaze influences. Since then, the band has been working on reforming their lineup as a 4-person band and rethinking their approach to songwriting so their work can reach new heights. Now, Jake and the Kid is ready to debut their first full-length album that falls into genres similar to their last EP, but adds new post-rock and experimental elements, as well as having a more refined sound. Essentially, as a whole work, their new album and live set seeks to evoke emotion and intrigue in listeners through different songs involving dynamic changes, varied track lengths, thick and thin textural changes, and sticky songwriting. The first single from the album "Juniper" is out on all platforms now, and the band has two more singles slated to release in October before the album arrives in full in November.

About PRISM Choir:
PRISM is an affirming queer chorus in Regina SK. PRISM celebrates and lifts up queer music in the city and brings folks together from across south SK!

About Robin Mang:
Here we have Robin Mang, also previously known as DJ Fatbot. Robin Mang has been serving up electronic music to the prairies for around 22 years. Having learned his craft first off with turntables and records, he took to CDJs very shortly after that. He is no stranger to playing vinyl or digital, or both.

Whether it be house, breaks, hiphop, funk, soul, disco, or techno you can only expect the most funky and fun sounds and vibes!! Truly a set you won’t wanna miss.
About Vinyl Hang:
Vinyl Hang is focused on hanging out and sharing curated music from ours and our friend’s record collections. Whether it's classics, underground gems, or an obscurity dug out from the back of a dumpster halfway around the world, we play what we love and are here to add more noise to the world of vinyl DJs.
