About the Role

We’re looking for bartenders who are passionate about community, enjoy live performance, and bring professionalism, warmth, and reliability to every shift. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys connecting with people in a creative, dynamic environment.

You’ll be responsible for providing bar service during public events, private rentals, and community gatherings. You’ll often work independently, or alongside one other bartender during busy events.

There is no minimum expectation — all staff are casual, and we offer complete flexibility. We accommodate your availability.

Responsibilities

● Serve beer, wine, basic mixed drinks, non-alcoholic beverages, and light snacks

● Operate a Square POS system, handling cash and card transactions accurately

● Provide water and light support to artists and crew in the greenroom

● Maintain a clean, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for patrons and performers

● Bus tables and wash dishes from both the auditorium and lounge during and after service

● Follow the venue’s Code of Conduct and uphold a safe and respectful environment for all

Opening Duties:

● Cash-in and prepare bar for service

● Restock fridges, pull required alcohol, and prepare popcorn/snacks

● Sanitize bar and lounge surfaces, vacuum lounge, and check restrooms

Closing Duties:

● Cash-out and record low stock

● Bus tables and wash dishes from both auditorium and lounge

● Clean and restock as needed

● Empty garbages, sanitize surfaces, lock doors, and set alarm

Qualifications

● SIRS certification required

● Food safety knowledge or certification an asset

● Bartending or customer service experience preferred

● Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

● Strong communication and time management skills

● Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in maintaining a clean, organized space

Training & Opportunities
