Started in 2012 by some legendary Saskatchewan spoken word poets, Write Out Loud Poetry is a Saskatoon based arts collective made by youth poets for youth poets. During the year they run Open Mic events and in the summer they run the prairie-wide SKribe Youth Poetry Festival.
Our open mic is an opportunity for folks to gather and share appreciation for the art of spoken word. Everyone is welcome on our pressure-free stage to perform their spoken word poems in 5-minute spots. All genres, styles, and stories will be celebrated. Open mic sign up starts at 6:30pm and we are limited to 12 spots, so come early!
