About Leaf Rapids:

Leaf Rapids is a small isolated town in Northern Manitoba where the Aurora Borealis graffiti the winter skies. It is also the borrowed moniker of a Winnipeg band featuring keen songwriting, sweet and smoky harmonies, luscious guitar licks and the eerie sound of the theremin. Critics can’t decide if their sound is cinematic Canadiana, Manitoba Motown, or spacey spaghetti- western.

Keri Latimer, Devin Latimer, Joanna Miller and Chris Dunn are realists and dreamers. They are chemistry professors, dry-wallers, child rearers, and custodians of the night that croon about love as it applies to vultures, barbershop stabbings, satellites and velvet paintings to name a few. Collective career highlights of the band members include touring the world, winning a JUNO Award while giving birth, playing Parliament Hill on Canada Day, being signed and dropped by Nettwerk Records, scoring an Academy Award nominated film, and scooping a songwriting award from Bryan Adams.

Their much anticipated new album, Velvet Paintings, will be released on April 19, 2024 on Mile 33 Records.

About Devon Floyd:
Devon Floyd is a songwriter that resides on Treaty 4 land in Regina, Saskatchewan. He plays most of his music for his wife (sometimes to her chagrin) and their two young children, Iris and Ezra. You can call him a dipper, a lefty, a bleeding heart commie and that's all fine with him. He hopes you're doing well too. His songs are rooted in the balance of the tragedy and triumph of the human condition.
About Rein:
Rein is a 15 year old musician from Langbank, Sk. Rein has been performing since the age of 6, mostly a vocalist but also loves playing piano and guitar. Much of her experience has come from performing the National Anthem at government and sporting events, most notably twice for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders, but is no stranger to the stage.

Rein has also appeared on Kinsmen Telemiracle, this year was her 5th performance on the show. She performs locally for concerts, music festivals, events and regularly puts on performances at local Long Term Care facilities.

Rein is soulful beyond her years and loves covering songs from the 80s, 90s and today. Her rich and eclectic sound brings back memories of music of ages before with a joyful youthful twist.
