The Artesian is pleased to welcome back Zachary Lucky for a night of old-school country tunes and stories! Joining him for this date will be local heroes Bree & Brown!

About Zachary Lucky:

Award-nominated songwriter Zachary Lucky is unapologetically old-school country, armed with a husky, baritone voice - He carries himself like a younger Richard Buckner or a heartier Doug Paisley and often receives comparisons to songwriters such as Gordon Lightfoot and Kris Kristofferson. He sings of Canadian places and people as knowingly as he might Townes Van Zandt or the Rio Grande. It's a relatable show on many levels, and conjures universal feelings that have passed through our collective timelines. Already hailed as a master storyteller by outlets ranging from No Depression to The Globe and Mail, Zachary returns this fall with a new collection of traditional folk and country songs called “Songs For Hard Times”. Out November 2021.

About Bree & Brown:

Bree & Brown share songs for friends, neighbours, brothers, old dogs and lovers. From kitchen table conversations to meeting at late-night spots, their music tells a familiar story. Bree & Brown is the latest musical endeavour from Saskatchewan-based musicians Lexi Buzash and Brigid McNutt. Conversational lyrics and melodic fiddle and banjo bring to life the stories of a full cast of characters. The pair are working on a full-length concept album of music to be shared in good company. Most recently they opened for Megan Nash at drive-in concerts presented by Regina Folk Festival and Summer Bash.
