About Lyssa & The Try-Tones:

Lyssa & The Try-Tones are celebrating the release of their latest EP, New Love: Side A — a soul-pop collection bursting with blaring horn lines, rich grooves, and heartfelt lyrics that trace the rollercoaster of new love: the fear, the doubt, the surrender, and ultimately, the realness of truth and connection. Its retro soul dressed in modern polish — raw, real, and irresistibly alive.

Born from a shared desire to keep soul music genuine in the modern age, Lyssa & The Try-Tones sound like something you’d find spinning on a well-loved vinyl coming out of Detroit in the 1970s. Based in Regina, SK, the band’s tight rhythm section and radiant horn arrangements are the perfect backdrop for Lyssa’s powerhouse vocals — the kind that get the energy moving and good vibes rolling.

True to the spirit of classic soul, the band records live off the floor, capturing the spontaneity and emotion of real musicians making real music. With two previous EPs (Basement City View, 2022, and Chasing Shadows, 2023), Lyssa & The Try-Tones have built a reputation for their groove-driven authenticity — and New Love: Side A takes that signature sound to its most vibrant and heartfelt place yet.

About Terraplane:

Regina’s Terraplane covers a lot of ground within the blues genre. Blending traditional elements and slide guitar with more modern, electric improvisation, this quartet has been a mainstay of the Regina Blues Festival for years. Featuring Shane Reoch on vocals and guitar, Troy Bleich on bass, Colin Lynn on drums and Ethan Reoch on keyboards and guitar, Terraplane is sure to please both casual listeners and deeper blues enthusiasts.

About Charley Victoria:
-
Hi! My name is Charley Victoria, I am fourteen years old. I am a young singer/ songwriter. My dream is to be standing in front of a crowd while they sing along to my songs, while connecting with their hearts.
-
My passion is anything music related, and I truly love the idea of helping and healing others through music. I attend Walter Murray Collegiate in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, and am passionate about anything to do with writing. Music, poem writing, short stories, and essays are all very near and dear to my heart.
-
More than anything, I love my family and every dog that lives within it. My family has been a solid rock for me as I have always turned to them to share both happiness and sadness. I want nothing more than to make each and every one of them proud as I embark on a future full of music notes.
