Topic: "Educating Global Citizens: A Conversation Between North & South"

Join our knowledgeable presenters/provocateurs in an engaging conversation about issues facing our schools. What does it mean to educate our students as "global citizens"? How can we support engagement in complex, interconnected issues? What is the role of solidarity, human rights, and decolonization? What can we learn from the experiences of those working on the front lines around the globe? Share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas in an informal atmosphere.

Presenters/Provocateurs:
- Dr. Lynette Shultz - Co-Director of the Centre for Global Citizenship Education and Research, University of Alberta [Edmonton, Canada)
- César Antonio Hernandez Gamez, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Educator, Committee Against AIDS (CoCoSI) [Santa Marta, El Salvador]
- Brenda René Hubbard, Director, Committee Against AIDS (CoCoSI) [Santa Marta, El Salvador]

Hosted in partnership with the University of Regina Faculty of Education
