Artesian on 13th

Event

Scott Anthony Andrews

Scott Anthony Andrews is a Land & Sea singer-songwriter—literally, with his home town here in Regina, but resides also in Halifax. His musical genres include Adult Contemporary, Folk/Smooth Jazz and some AC-inspirational. I Don’t Do Lazy Like That, is Scott Anthony’s third CD; his second CD was nominated for a Nova Scotia Music Award and garnered Top Finalist in the Songwriters Association of Canada contest. The first track released was “Wisdom is Waitin’ On Me” (Jan 2018) which features a video shot by Crushed Rockets (Sherona & Aaron Sinclair) at Bodhi Tree Yoga (thx to Sarah Garden and Colin Hall), just down the street from the Artesian. The video features many wonderful yogis; actually, the evening will feature Shea Usick performing some amazing yoga feats.

Corinne Groff will join Scott Anthony for a duet based upon the true life romance of Twyla and Shawn, real-life high-school sweethearts who met at the movies every Friday night. Among her many musical endeavours, Corinne directs Amici Singers who will also participate in a couple of songs. Indeed, the evening features Saskatchewan talent—and Saskatchewan, itself. Local artist, Dale MAC will join Scott Anthony for a song; Carter Powley, sax player, will be featured in a song about Jazz in Saskatchewan! To be sure, Scott Anthony Andrews with a full band and a full evening look forward to welcoming you on April 7 to the gem of a venue, The Artesian.
