LAUNCH Youth Performance Festival Week 1

Presented by the Globe Theatre School and the Artesian:

The LAUNCH Youth Performance Festival is an opportunity for Saskatchewan arts organizations working with youth to come together in the spirit of collaboration, education, and exposure. Here is a place where artistic and educational models can be shared; communities and audiences brought together; and young artists shown the creative potential that exists in collaboration and cross-disciplinary dialogue.

LAUNCH Features new works in theatre, music, dance, film and media developed by the Globe Theatre School’s Youth Company and Senior-level Theatre Ensembles, contemporary dancers from FadaDance’s Youth Company, the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative’s Youth Film Program, students from the Conservatory of Performing Arts, youth storytellers from the Sakewewak Artists’ Collective, and the Deaf Crows Collective based out of Thom Collegiate High School.

WEEK 1 (March 15-18) Features the Following Performances:

MARCH 15 -- The Conservatory Pipe Band, Globe's Scripted & Evolution II

MARCH 16 -- Globe's Scripted, Film Pool Screening, and the Deaf Crows Collective

MARCH 17 -- The Conservatory's Broadway Genius & String Orchestra, Films, the Deaf Crows, and Globe's Evolution I

MARCH 18 -- The Deaf Crows, The Conservatory's Juventus Choir, and Globe's Evolution II
