150 YEARS OF DANCE
Sat, May 27, 10am – 4pm
From jazz to First Nations hoop dancing, Métis jigging to Ukrainian, square dancing to salsa – join us in celebrating 150 years of dance! Performances and workshops on the hour or half hour. All ages welcome. Bring comfortable shoes and clothes for the workshops.
9PM AVA WILD
From the living skies of Saskatchewan Ava Wild began to collect inspiration and translate her world through music. With a honey sweet voice laced in a red shoe attitude, she dances with crowns in folk-root soul and jazzy style.
10PM GUNNER AND SMITH
Evolving from Saskatoon folk artist Geoffrey Smith’s one-man vision, Gunner & Smith has emerged as an indie-country-rock outfit with their own unique sound culled from influences as diverse as roots, pop and psychedelia. Smith’s haunting baritone and shadowy lyrics are unmistakable touchstones that tie the songs together.
11PM SCOTT RICHMOND
Scott Richmond is a Regina-based musician and songwriter with a soulful take on Folk-Country and Rock and Roll and a dynamic live show that has captivated audiences all across North America.
