LAUNCH Youth Performance Festival

The LAUNCH Youth Performance Festival is an opportunity for Saskatchewan arts organizations working with youth to come together in the spirit of collaboration, education, and exposure. Here is a place where artistic and educational models can be shared; communities and audiences brought together; and young artists shown the creative potential that exists in collaboration and cross-disciplinary dialogue.

Week 2 of the LAUNCH Festival features performances from the Globe Theatre School's Young Company and the FadaDance Youth Company.

GLOBE YOUNG COMPANY

Comprised of 7 mature young artists ages 16-18, this ensemble explores contemporary practices in devised theatre. Lost + Found explores the relationships between people and their possessions through notions of attachment and emotional endowment.

FADADANCE YOUTH COMPANY

An ensemble of 30 contemporary dancers between the ages of 13-19, the Youth Company provides young dancers with challenging experiences in creation, choreography, and performance. T-E-X-T explores the relationship of words and language within the world of dance.

LAUNCH is made possible through the generous support of our Funder, the City of Regina, and our Festival Sponsor, ISC.
